Objectives

The goal of this project was to design BabyWings, a platform that supports parents during pregnancy and early parenting. The website was created to make it easy for parents to track baby growth and milestones, access expert articles and educational content, browse and purchase curated baby and maternity products, and navigate the platform in a clear and user-friendly way. The overall aim was to build trust and credibility for parents using the platform.

Findings

During research and analysis, we found:

• BabyWings is an eCommerce site but initially looked more like a blog.
• Each blog post should allow readers to easily navigate to the product cart and shopping section.
• Educational content should be easy to find without taking focus away from shopping.
• Parents prefer a clean design with a clear hierarchy and an intuitive interface.
• Call-to-action buttons and product links should be clearly visible to support purchases.

BabyWings is a digital platform designed to support parents through every stage of pregnancy and early parenting. It combines a smart pregnancy tracking system with an eCommerce marketplace that offers curated baby and maternity products. Parents can monitor their baby’s growth week by week, access expert-backed articles, and shop essentials all in one seamless experience. Beyond being a shopping destination, BabyWings fosters knowledge-sharing and empowerment through educational content, tools like calculators, and community-driven resources. The platform is built to simplify parenting journeys, making them more informed, connected, and stress-free.
