Objectives

The project aimed to design a web app for Marinode-AI Solutions, including both the user-facing platform and the admin interface. The web app serves as a community platform for seafarers and marine workers, providing social networking features, access to training materials, and real-time updates. The admin side allows trainers and operators to manage content, monitor users, and track engagement efficiently.

Findings

Research and analysis revealed the following points:

• Users needed a simple way to connect with peers and access training content.
• Training materials required easy access, offline support, and low-bandwidth optimization.
• Navigation and content discovery had to be intuitive for users with varying technical skills.
• Admin users needed clear dashboards to manage content, monitor usage, and send updates.
• Notifications and alerts were important for training updates and social interactions.
• Consistency in design and clear visual hierarchy were necessary for both user and admin interfaces.
